While observing elections in Malawi, I was pleased to meet Lt Col(retired)Panjit Kaunda, Zambia’s High Commissioner. We discussed how his father, President Kaunda and Mwalimu Nyerere supported Southern African liberation and welcomed refugees from Uganda and beyond.
