In summer, Chagan Lake, has no clamor of crowds or roar of motors, but only waterbirds, rustling reeds, and the tranquil lake breeze. Spanning 500 square kilometers, this body of water, is the seventh largest freshwater lake in China, and in its gentlest guise.
